Ever since I got to college I have felt so at home and had so much fun that I didn't want to leave. Heck, I even forgot about mass and all my high school friends here.  College is where it's at! I've never had more fun in my life.  I mountain bike every day on real mtn biking trail, backpack on the weekends, climb almost every day...and then i do some school work.  But getting back home here is weird because I'm not in my happy nature bubble anymore.  Mass popped my bubble and I'm getting all confused as to which friends are from where.  I just miss maine. and my maine friends.  It's only been a few hours...

I had another weird dream last night/this morning so I slept until 11.  So imma tell all de interwebs about it.

So to start off I was walking down the street to borrow a alien halloween costume from Nicole and there were these plastic bags hanging from trees and there was an egg in each one but it was hollow and tied up with string and then Chris and Jake came up behind me and they were like "The nerds are having an easter egg hunt!"  So they like started dragging me down the other street and I was like "no! I need to get to Nicole's!"

So at that point I was near the center of town and saw some kids on skateboards so I grabbed my skateboard and rode back to Nicole's house.  So when I was there I went in and it was like this Puerto Rican family and the mom led me to the back of a room and I put on this spandex red martian costume but now I was this little chubby girl from dance and my belly was all hanging out of the spandex and I was like "well that's not attractive" and took the thing off. 

But now Nicole was my friend Hunter and I was back in the main part of the room and all her shelves were organized by color and type of clothing and the shelves were all over the walls.  So I though I would try on some of her clothes while I was there so i tried on a couple pairs of jeans then put them back and then I tried on this pair of salmon colored jeans and before I could put them back her mom looked over the half wall near me and was like "how was the costume?" So I tried to put the pants back on a shelf but they didn't match the colors and the shelf was for shorts, not jeans.  So after trying a bunch of other things, I finally said to her mom that I looked at her jeans to find out where she got them but I couldn't find where to put them back so she put them back for me. 

Then I had to walk her dog or something but I didn't have a leash so I had to go into her sister's closet and find belts to tie together but I couldn't find any that I could hook together so I crawled further into her closet because she had belts covering the walls. But then I heard her come into her room and I freaked out and crawled out this window in her closet and walked around the house with the dog but the family was waiting in front of the house and they attacked when I went by because they thought I was stealing their dog but the dog was like "It's alright she was taking me for a walk" and everyone was like "oh okay cool."

The End

Prom is tonight! I'm more excited for dressing up than the actual prom.  I could care less about the dance and the awful music and getting sick from eating some form of pasta.  I eat like 90% raw now and eating pasta makes me feel icky.  I'll probably just pick out the vegetables and eat those.  It's not like it's a huge waste cuz our ticket was only $25.  The trolley costs more than the prom: $45. ughhhhh. I'd rather take a minivan or something free but Oleg was signed up before we were going together so I got added to the list and he paid the deposit so I couldn't do anything.  It is extremely hot today.  I just worked out in the basement and I was sweating buckets even though its 20 degrees cooler down there. I can't wait til I can shower.  I haven't shaved my legs all week so they'll stay smooth longer when I do.  It's gross.  And I'm all sweaty and ick.  But if I shower now I'll just get sweaty later. Mleh. I'm dreading straightening my hair.  Too hot next to my head.  Maybe I'll do it in the basement.


Anyway, it's so weird being out of school.  All that's left is prom and graduation! and a piano lesson/recital. and arts encore night. I get 3 awards! woohoo!! I wanna know what they areeeeeeeee.  I need a job or something.  Mass Audubon only has volunteer things. I need money!  Someone find me a job!

I got a new laptop. It's a Sony VAIO and it's purple! It's the prettiest color ever. My sis has a pink one. (mine's prettier).  And we got a free xbox with it because it was over $699.99.  But it only has one controller.  So if anyone has extra controllers or games they could sell me, or if you know anyone that does, that would be fantastic.

Epic Day

It's the end of Hell Week for Footloose! well..pretty much.

We performed for the middle schools (I guess that should be singular since only one school came) so we all got to miss classes to put the show on.  Technically we could have gone to the first 2 periods, half of long block, and last period but most people took advantage of the excused absence and stayed in the theater department all day.  And because the show went so well we didn't have to have rehearsal after school!! Lately we've been there til at least 8 for tech stuff.  I have a lot of down time though because, being in the pit, I don't have to move or remember lines or do tech stuffs. Just play a couple songs, watch the play, make jokes that no one but the pit can hear... it's fun.  I get to play auxiliary percussion like tambourine and cowbell :D

But after school when everyone was going home I had to stay after for a piano lesson then give an hour long viola lesson.  Then around 2:30 I got a text saying my lesson was canceled and then Adam texted me saying that his dad rescheduled his guitar lesson for today so I was free from both!  I went home and went for a walk in the woods and played on the little tree islands in the swampy area.  I found some cool little places to hang out in the woods back there.  After that I ate food and watched 90s cartoons and stuff :D

Friday was the hypnotist show. SO hilarious. I want to get a hypnotist instead of a moon bounce at my grad party.
Then yesterday I had to go out to Boston to get my sound post on my violin fixed.  $75 there plus the cost of 2 A strings. Then I decided to leave my wood bow there to get re-haired so that's another $60.  But on the way over there we stopped at REI to get a new day pack for me for hiking cuz I don't have my own and I'll need one in college.  It's really nice. And since I'm so tall I was able to get a men's pack.

I got the blue one. It's purrdy.  But it was about $100 after using coupons and member discounts... ugh. Worth it though.

Then today I'm going out wif mah mommy to go to Wrentham outlets. I'm gonna try to find a prom dress at Karen Millen.  That store is so great. At the outlet the dresses are marked down so much that you can find one for about $30. Unfortunately I spent like $150 last year cuz the dress I got wasn't marked down a lot. But I love that dress. I could wear it anywhere formal cuz it's short.  I'm getting another short dress this year. I can't dance in a long dress and after prom last year I saw so many people with ripped hems and that's gotta suck. Spend a ton of money on a dress and then ruin it the one night you wear it.  Short dresses are the way to go.
